Bark Like a Local

We want to make sure that you and your furry friend experience Downtown Rochester Like a Local. While you are taking advantage of our Travel Like a Local deals, your pup can travel with you! Below are a list of nearby parks, restaurants, and shops that your dog will be excited to check out.

• Paint Creek Trail is located just steps outside our doors. The serene 9 miles of pathways lead north into the quaint town of Lake Orion. Halfway through your travels, be sure to stop at the pet friendly Paint Creek Cider Mill for a delicious snack or lunch.  If you and your pup want to get in a bit more exercise, you can rent one of our Bikes and even organize a picnic.

• Stony Creek Metropark is a great option if your dog is looking to stretch their legs, play Frisbee, or perhaps go swimming. Just 6 miles from the Hotel, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained for hours.

• Bloomer Park which is located just 3.5 miles from the Hotel provides wonderful hiking trails for your dog to run and play.

After all that exercise, the two of you are bound to be hungry.  You may want to order carry-out and just stay in, but perhaps you will want to explore Downtown Rochester to grab a bite.  Be sure to call ahead and check availability before bringing your pup along!
